Arrow Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation and our beautiful clinic in Edison, New Jersey, is proud to be a member of the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) Rehabilitation Network. This membership reflects our ability to provide our patients with a high level of physical therapy expertise. If you’re seeking exceptional and convenient services in and around the Edison community, Arrow can help.

Founded in 1994, the HSS Rehabilitation Network was created to make it easier for patients to receive outpatient physical therapy if it was not possible or convenient to return to the hospital. Since traveling can be difficult for patients recovering from surgery, injury or other conditions, the goal is to provide high-quality therapy and rehabilitation services that cover a wider radius. However, HSS wanted to ensure that any participating physical therapy providers met their high standards, which is why a rigorous screening process was put in place.

What physical therapy standards did our clinic meet to join the HSS network?

After our Edison clinic applied to become an HSS Rehabilitation Network member, we had to complete an extended inspection process that looked at the following qualities:

  • Credentials — This includes the education received by our clinicians, as well as their licenses and board certifications.
  • Provision of care — HSS is committed to ensuring that people receive compassionate, personalized and patient-centered care on a highly consistent basis.
  • Facilities — To join, we had to demonstrate that our clinic not only met high standards for cleanliness and comfort but also featured state-of-the-art equipment and was designed for the ease and convenience of patients.
  • Service offerings — The process is also designed to ensure that participating members offer industry-standard, evidence-based physical therapy services and also keep up to date with the latest best practices in the field.

By receiving HSS certification, patients in the Edison community can be sure that they are receiving continuity of care from a high-performing team.
